    I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure out these 3 chickens, especially the first one. They are all 5 weeks old, brown egg layers with no feathers on there legs. I think this one is a RIR I think this one is a Wyandotte but I could be wrong

    My husband build is basically a run along one wall of our coop. He made it in two pieces so we could remove it and store it until next needed. It has a door in the front so they can come and go when ready and two hatches on top for waters and feeders. Sorry I don't have pics. It's not up right...

    One of my chickens was standing alone this morning, tail down, breathing somewhat heavily, and she appears to be straining.     turkey vultures

    Yesterday had a turkey vulture circling low on my chickens. It scared them and me. Do vultures kill chickens? My husband thinks because our hens are black the vulture thought maybe they were a group of vultures that found food.
