    thanks for your replies. i did look earlier for any visual signs, and i just got a soapy sponge to give it a clean anyway, but there is nothing there. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a simple sprain and see how it goes

    Thanks. No, there doesn't seem to be anything stuck in the foot, and there is no visible sign of injury. She will put it on the ground to walk, but limps when she does this. It isn't curled up as she raises it, just lifted up

    You're all so inventive!! Mine isnt quite so imaginative My name is Kirsty and when people whine my name they add a 'ah' sound on the end, and it bugged my friend so he started calling me Kirstyaa and it stuck
