i need to find a home for four little chicken, they haven't started laying and they are free. my friend, who can't no longer care for them, can't tell me how old they are :(. if anyone wants them just PM me and we'll work something out.

sorry to hear about him but so far i think you are doing good. just repeat the bath and antibiotics until he is all better. how is the temp in the coop? i would watch him in that regard just to make sure he does not get too cold.

have you checked his throat for anything that might be stuck or growing around his vocal cords like a tumor? is he still eating and drinking?

all of our animals eat prunia, the cat food kibbles are dark drawn. we have chickens, cats, and rabbits. Question: would it be bad if they ate the rabbits feed too? hubby's rabbits are in his shed/barn and two of the rabbits are on ground level. not sure if the girls can reach the rabbits food...

Hubby chased both girls out of his shed (he lefted his door open) for eating his spinage seeds that he had planted and he said something about the cat losing his food to the birds. i was mad at hubby for chasing my birds so i did not cetch all of his statement... yes she is still acting normal, laying, eating, and following the Dom around.I'll try the oil. you said something about the hay: are the stem poisonous or they can just damage the in'erns? what are the effects of chickens eat alfalfa? we don't have alfalfa but i am just asking if in case.
