I have 4 gold comets, all were laying consistently, then all stopped laying approximately two weeks ago after they were moved into a new coop. Could it be the location of the coop, or the winter approaching that has caused them to stop laying? I would love some advice.
We have a makeshift coop set up right now as their coop is being delivered in a couple days. Their coop will have a run, nesting boxes, perch etc. The coop we have set up now has those things, but is an open pin.
My fiancé and I recently purchased 4 golden comets approx 1.5 years old. How can we help the acclimate to their new home, what tips can you give us as new hen owners in the city? We want happy, healthy, laying hens!
