Will this copper leakage go away as he ages or will it remain the same?
I hatched this guy/gal from hatching eggs that I purchased from an Ameraucana breeder who bred BBS Ameraucana. I saw the parent birds. Breed purity isn’t in question. But this is the only one that hatched out of 31 eggs. No joke.

Adding that I’ve just looked into it and apparently there are many nerve receptors in the beak. I won’t be trimming it. He’s a sweet boy. I don’t want to hurt him so I’ll try and just put something on his wattle to quicken the healing process.
