Not sure if anyone would be interested in this, but I'm moving and recently sold/rehomed all of my chickens. As I'm cleaning up all of their old stuff, I realize I have a collection of chicken equipment that I don't need anymore.

My roommate and I keep a flock of chickens here at our house in Chatsworth, CA. At the end of October we're moving down into the city and we don't think it would be a good place to keep the chickens (a yard big enough for them would be out of our price range). There are 5 adult Cochin hens, all...
I used to have a second rooster, and they fought some, but I rehomed him about two weeks ago. The red spot wasn't there when the other rooster left, though he certainly could have pulled out some feathers. Is it possible it would have taken a few days to get red like that afterwards?
As for...
Jack, my cochin rooster has had a bright red patch on his leg for.. maybe a week now. It's just on the one leg, and just him, no one else in the flock. Any idea what it is? Is it something I should be concerned about, or will this heal up on its own?
Yes! He's still available, and I'm in Chatsworth, not terribly far from you.
You have good timing, him and the cochin have starting fighting a lot in just the past week. I don't know if it's because of the season or what, but they used to never fight (they were raised as chicks together) but I...
I'm looking to re-home this fellow, preferably somewhere where he won't be eaten. I know roosters are hard to find a non stew-pot home for, but he's a Sultan, which is comparatively rare out here (at least I've never seen another one for sale). I got a group of cochin chicks, but it turned out...
The thing is, he's not really bad, at least not enough that I'd want to kill him (I'm also a vegetarian, so take that as you will). The chickens are my backyard pets, I was hoping for a way to keep the roos separate while still being able to keep them all.
Oh, yea, I should have said, this is a permanent separation. He's been too much of a jerk to a little hen of mine, that was the last straw. It was either this or give him away.
I've got a very large run, fully fenced in with hardware cloth, sides and top (there are a lot of coyotes in this area, I wanted to make sure they were completely protected). One of my roos has been a punk and has been over mating the hens, so I decided to separate him. I can't build another run...
I recently moved to a new place in the country so that I could keep my roosters and be closer to work. It's near the mountains so there are coyotes around, which neighboring dogs mainly kept at bay, which I assumed would be enough while I spent a week or so and got their new run built...
