    My dogs have already found the fence line and won't go near it. It's set to max since we are one a country rd people drive 60mph on so I'd rather they take a brutal shock over a truck tire

    Sucks to go out there right now because all the chicks that survived are paranoid and its taking a lot of mealworms and time to re-socialize them only 4 of the 10 will come near me

    I now have chicken wire on the ground all around it covered in gravel and nailed to the structure dogs are on invisible fence and now not able to get within 30' of the coop

    Looks more like a bunker than a coop now. It is supposed to be temporary so We used an empty horse barn and repurposed material to make the coop with plans for a nicer one this summer now it will include a concrete foundation on the coop and an electric fence around the run

    Family lap dog did it 16lbs of vicious papillon mutt. Never saw it coming and thought the coop was safe

    Hard lesson learned today after one night In the new coop a dog got in while I was at the store manged to get 9 young chickens so I'm spending the night stringing electric fence and laying gravel :(

    Some have tail feathers. Yes I can keep roosters I just wanted mainly hens I'm zoned agriculture with 5 acres and a pond so I got room to play and no neighbors to offend. I'm I wanted 28 layers an two roosters but I think I got several roosters

    I've had them 2 weeks but bought them discounted from Rural king due to age so I was guessing five to six weeks by others pics
