INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Wife goes to doctor tomorrow. They said they will set up a time to induce. So if nobody hears from me tomorrow night we will be at the hospital.
Good luck on the new delivery and attention needer lol. I slept a solid night for you two last night, just remembering the lack of sleep 8 and 10 years ago with our kids!

Family lap dog did it 16lbs of vicious papillon mutt. Never saw it coming and thought the coop was safe
Wow that is terrible. I have read so much about animals getting in, I have been making very sure our coop is safe. So far, so good, but they've been in only 2 nights. How did the dog get access?

Couple pictures from yesterday:

Love this little coop! Did you use washers and screws to attach the hardware cloth? I saw a thread years ago, where people were using pennies as washers... they just screwed right through the pennies. Thought that was a great money saving idea that I hope to remember for any new coops.

Took some pics for Vickichicki. 3 lemon blue bantam Cochins (not sure what colors can hatch out, but looks like a blue, lemon blue, and buff like color?) and the EE from Meyers. Just thought I'd share.

Ooh... They are beautiful. I am so excited. DH is going to kick my butt. If you don't hear from me tell them to look under the chicken coop, wahhaa..
Going to call a friend today to see if she wants a couple of my Sebrights so I can make room. Unless anyone else is interested in them here.
Thanks for the pictures.

Ugh...not good.

I let my laid back dog out without a leash and my idiot dog was on the tie out. As soon as she went outside she made a b line for the coop. Would never have thought she would do that, but I guess all the taunting noises they chickens make while she is on the tie out was too much. As soon as I called her she stopped bouncing around and barking at the coop and headed right back to the house. Made me realize, even her laid back attitude she still requires supervision and could be unpredictable. Not going out without her leash or tie out again.

well my dogs came back around 130 and ik about the attacks I'm worried my lil brothers dog will attack another or the neighbors dogs but i also have a German rott guarding the chickens
