I think it might have been the angle she was laying. She hasn’t had any trouble so far when she tries to stand. So hopefully everything will even out. Thank you for the tips!

Yes. That’s also why I haven’t put any water in there with her. She hasn’t gotten her legs yet so I’m afraid if I hurry it too much she will fall over and drown. And after all the work I’ve done trying to save her, drowning is the last thing I want!

I do. I have that and Sav-a-Chick. I think she might have aspirrated a small amount when I tried to give her a little. I am scared to try it again. I might give her a little rest time and try it before going to bed. Thanks!

Absolutely! Right now I’m standing over it watching and feeling the heat. I don’t want it to chill since it was wet so I’m being very cautious. After her bath she’s so much more active and fiesty!

It is very active and kicking its feet. I started running warm water over it next to a heat lamp and it seems to be cleaning it. I just hope it can walk

My coworker and I hatch baby chicks in the classroom. This year one of hers got stuck in the shell and dried out. I tried to save it by wetting the membranes and slowly peeling them away. Now it has this clear yellow stuff stuck all to it and I am wondering the best method of cleaning it up to...

I have 2 broody banties hatching eggs. One chick hatched this morning. They are in their coop which is a couple feet off the ground. I have a ramp going to the coop. My concern is when she starts taking them outside. What should I do about the ramp? Will she teach them how to go in and out...
