She’s getting fluffier and determined to stand up. She even tried to start preening under her wing!!!! From what I’ve read, that’s a great sign!

Do you have Nutri-Drench on hand?
If not pick some up tomorrow.
It is great for newly hatched chicks...to give them an extra boost.

I do. I have that and Sav-a-Chick. I think she might have aspirrated a small amount when I tried to give her a little. I am scared to try it again. I might give her a little rest time and try it before going to bed. Thanks!

Yes. That’s also why I haven’t put any water in there with her. She hasn’t gotten her legs yet so I’m afraid if I hurry it too much she will fall over and drown. And after all the work I’ve done trying to save her, drowning is the last thing I want!

dont blame you. Even tomorrow you can add some marbles or clean pebbles to the water. I hope she dont have problems w/ that one leg but if she does check out splay/spraddle leg.

I think it might have been the angle she was laying. She hasn’t had any trouble so far when she tries to stand. So hopefully everything will even out. Thank you for the tips!

wing sexing is hard I have heard the females will be all even. I call them all girls til one gives me a problem then its automatically a roo.
