    Lethargic, not egg bound.

I got her to drink a little and she’s making some peeps when I talk to her but she’s still not moving and is hunched over. She pooped but I had to move her off of it and I’ll include the picture of it because it looks very runny and white.

    Lethargic, not egg bound.

My polish pullet isn’t acting right. She’s always been a little strange, getting stuck under the coop several times, not being able to get out of the coop because a roost was in the way, etc. So I didn’t think too much of it when she didn’t come out of the coop with the others this morning until...

Too many drakes or not enough ducks?

From what I’ve read the males can only make a hissing noise once they go through “puberty” so that’s what I was waiting to hear. They do look bigger than the girls I just got and those girls are all older than these two. I’m still going to wait it out and see but I’m pretty much expecting them...

    What do I do?

Ok well every lovebird is different, some will be friendlier than others and some just need more time to get used to you. Just keep working with her and trying.

    What do I do?

I’ve had a lovebird for about six years, he’s almost 11 though so I didn’t have him as a baby. They’re a bit flighty and aggressive for their size but with lots of love and treats I’m sure she’ll come to enjoy your company. Some lovebirds don’t like fingers so maybe try approaching with your...

Too many drakes or not enough ducks?

They’re about 9 weeks or so, so they’re still babies and still going through changes I know. They don’t seem to keep their tail feathers in the pointed shape like the hen from that article does but I have read that adults do that more so I didn’t use that as a guide. I was hoping I’d be able to...

Too many drakes or not enough ducks?

Pics posted! I was kind of thinking that but I do hope not to run into trouble! Wishful thinking I’m sure lol

Too many drakes or not enough ducks?

I got my baby muscovies about a month and a half ago and they’ve gotten so big and beautiful but for so long I could not figure out if they were male or female. Everything said I should be able to tell by size and voice but they looked similarly sized and they don’t really talk a lot so I just...

    Six-week-old chicks, male or female?

Not an expert so these are just guesses but the only one that looks rooish to me is the polish. Looks like the head fluff may be more streamer like than my pullets was at that age.

New to raising a house goose!

Hi Franks mom! I also had a house goose for a bit, his name is Waffles and he is now an outdoor goose. I love him to pieces but it was better for him and for my sanity that way XD Waffles was also happiest when I put him with his duck buddies. They were too small for awhile to be with him but...
