    Thanks. I'm very sad. It was a stray dog some one dumped off. He got my male and 2 of my white silkies. I got him though filled his hind end with buck shot. So now olive oil is all alone. It's sad she keeps calling for poppie.

    At what age does a male silkies comb start to really show. I have 5 5 month old white silkies and I still can't tell if I have pullets or roos. None have crowed and I only have one that has a little bit of red showing up on its comb but it's still flat just like the rest.

    I'm upset one of my black 6 wk old sizzles is turning brown. It's weird it's just on its chest. Is is normal for them to change color this far along. I am upset cuz I wanted black and the lady said that it would be black but now it's turning brown.

    Will it hurt them being in lock down and not being turned for so long? Should I go turn them? This is my first ever hatch in an incubator.

    Bump. I would like to know also. Mine made a nest in my carport in an old lunch cooler on a wire shelving system.

    I just found that my muscovie laid 4 eggs in an old lunch cooler in my car port today. She's an odd duck lol. I am so excited but now I have to wait 35 or so days to see them.
