    found out that the lil fella with reallly deformed feet is actually a boy, called him Igor and the 2nd girl is Eva.... hehe i thought it was cute. We actually found out that their parents whom we got the eggs from (our neighbour has the parents and we borrowed some of her eggs lol) are brother...

    Hi guys.. Nothing majorly bad going on here.. just very curious to find out what is wrong.. long story short, we've hatched many chicks, but 2 weeks ago we hatched 3 golden laced wyndotte chicks (all girls i believe - yay!) but two have very very deformed toes.... and one is completey fine...

    heya guys.. thought i'd post an update... Both of these two boys have slowly over the past 3 days started standing again... one even managed to walk up to me a lil bit (for food of course lol). Seems they're on the road to recovery... :D :D

    Wow such awesome info... update on the two boys.. they are both still alive, thankgod. Neither of them can walk yet, but still are eating/drinking. Um their diet: they have a huge lush green paddock just for themselves, which they graze upon. and we feed em pecknlay, wheat, comprey, a tiny bit...

    wow you guys are so fast.. and i am so not used to forums.. um they have a enclosed sleeping part which is attacked to their pen.. the hay is in there, which is undercover, and sheltered.. the hay was actually fine this am.. and i took it all out, just in case.. and put some more clean stuff in.

    hmm you see last night at about 11pm we checked on them quickly, and we quickly re-did their water cause it was a lil dirty.. and then this morning, 8am, was then two had died... and yes they we're completely out of water, it was bone dry (which is very unusual) so i cleaned out and re-topped up...

    wow thats a fast responce.. thankyou! um now that you mention it we have had weird weather.. but it hasnt been cold at all. we're in a heatwave (summer here) at the moment, and yet yesterday it was raining all day. They've been outside for a week now (put out when they we're 5 weeks old...

    heya guys... yesterday i found that two of my geese cannot stand or walk... this is so bizarre to me.. its never happened before. They are both 1 and a half years old, both boys, brothers actually. I went out to give them their usual feed.. and neither of them could stand!?! they just semi flap...
