This is a great article! I fear my girls problem may continue but have been dealing with an impacted crop for over a week now and finally got it broken up and then it won't drain. I tried again with massage today and caught a gross smell from her mouth like droppings rather than sour. She...

She will drink, eat blueberries and peas but not duck feed. She is staying away from her flock for the most part just standing around or...

    Treating Tapeworms - Under Construction

Withholding food in the morning - chickens are hungry and so are the tapeworms, I do it in the morning and hold food for two hours and re introduce food slowly so they don’t over eat causing impacted crop etc. you want the tapes to get the med and if there is other food then less of an impact.

    Treating Tapeworms - Under Construction

I know mine are from either worms or crickets. The person who lived in my house before had worm farms everywhere and crickets come out but the 100 every day. It’s insane.

I can see this is lash material but next steps?

I am so sorry for your loss. No one tells you how hard it is to lose them. I think we just have to know we love them and give them a best life possible . Doesn’t make it easier especially when they are our favorites and we are close with them. Thank you for sharing this with me.

Do I move the coop and run to another location while treating? I use pine chips but I’d like to be ahead this year as...
