Papaya Enzyme for Sour Crop

I have been dealing with impacted crop (baseball) for almost 2 weeks with round the clock massage- coconut oil- lots of water and a vet med. I finally used the papaya enzyme a whole chewable broke in half this morning and her crop is half the size and not hard! what!? we have seen zero change until today about 2 hours after the enzyme. I have the fiber but have yet to use it as she is nit consuming enough water right now and I dont want to mess that up. We are not in the clear yet and I'll see what it looks like in the morning but so far this is the first reprieve we have seen!
