What is the best filtering equipment for a 500L duck pond
That's a beautiful pond. Looking through your pics I couldn't make out how the filter worked. Was it a DIY filter or did you buy it? Even if I was to make a DIY filter, any idea how I would get all of the 'muck' into a barrel filter and not just have it on the bottom of the pond..? -
Which wood treatment for a coop?
I use a nanotechnology water based treatment for my coops and they are still looking great. It is actually this exact coop: http://www.feelgooduk.net/113-duck-coop-egg-house-4-waterfowl-coop-4-bird.html I didn't realise how small the best box would be, so I just lay all the wood shavings on the floor of the coop about an inch or so thick for them both to fit in fine. -
