Hi I don't know if I should be worried or not but one of my little buffs about 2-3 days old is always sleeping and using its wings for support I think it might be dieing but I don't know please help.
Thanks this rabbit cage is just until they get bigger then ill put them in a larger brooder which I ordered online it is about 4 feet by 2 feet the big box but that's not until they are bigger right now it seemed a waste to me so I used my rabbits old travel cage.
I called the post office and talked to them for a bit but the last place it was scanned was in the middle of Missouri that's why im so nervous because they have already been in the mail 2 days maybe 2.5 days
I do have a brooder but I am not so sure they will make it when they do arrive.
Hello my little peeps are coming from Missouri but they have not reached even MA yet so now I am getting worried. The way the shipping goes for me is it enters Brockton then comes to Millis and I drive to get them but they have not reached MA yet and I am worried.
No worries they have...
Hello as you can see in the title my little peeps are coming tomorrow. I have everything I need I think but I am not sure so ill list what I have.
Feeder/Waterer
Feed (Chick starter Medicated).
A brooder, with heat lamp.
Pine shavings.
A thermometer.
And the chicks when they arrive tomorrow...
Well thank all of you for answering my question and I believe that what I get from this is feed starter for 8 weeks then feed grower until the first egg. Then switch to laying feed when you see that egg.
Hi i'm getting some baby chicks in April and my local Agway said for me to keep them on medicated chick starter for 8 weeks then give them the laying feed. Is this correct or should I do it differently. Thanks in advance
