    speck in the egg!

    my hen hes been lating eggs that have a speck in the squiggly white stuff atached to the yoke. could someome please tell me what that is. i used to think that it ment the eggs were fertil but then i looked it up and people said that there is a white dot on the yoke. i have never seen this spot...

    Our chicken Baby was attacked by a fox 2-3 hours ago. We thought she was taken, but about 10 mins ago we heard squawking around the chicken coop and ran outside. A fox ran away and we looked around. We saw Baby, our young (but laying) white leghorn stumbling through the lawn. We picked her up...
