We are supposed to pick up Milkshake on Monday. All the owner knows is that they bought Milkshake from TSC about 3 years ago. They dont know breed or gender. Milkshake will be a pet, but may also be used for "meat rabbit" breeding, we arent sure yet.
So, is Milkshake a buck or a doe? And...
The meaties will be processed way before the extra roos. They are almost 3 weeks, and the assortment came today. I am thinking maybe a 12 x 8 tractor. Would that work for 15-20 cockerels until about 16-18 weeks?
We are trying out a few different options for meat birds this year. We've got a few CXs and we are getting a "heavy assortment" that we plan to raise the roos for meat. I want to make the dual purpose heavies a tractor to keep on the area we plan to turn into another garden next year, so they...

OMG! That would be horrible. Yes, I'm one of those emotional *Cancer* chicks, but even though it was kinda yucky, I still wanted to cry for the poor thing! I kept trying to remind myself that I knew it would happen, but its still sad.
