I'll look it up and ask them when they get home- if they hear the name, they might remember. I really just thought it was a routine eye exam or I would have gone with. My Men- I've found ( don't know if other are this way) Can't seem to remember details.

My girls quit laying as well. Its been in the 90+ with very few breaks from the heat for about 5 weeks now. I was getting 2 dozen a day, now I'm lucky to get 3 or 4. Just trying to keep them cool and hope they survive a few more days. Suppose to cool of on sunday.

How many coops and runs do you have?

3 coops 1 coop is 12 X12 w/ a 12 X 24 foot run The other 2 coops are 12 X 16 and 6X12 - The smaller of the coops is for my new chicks so although there is a door for them to go outside - they don't, at least not yet. The bigger coop holds all my layers and they are free range.

    Chicken Killing Family Dog

It sounds like you no longer trust the dog. The biggest issue is if he is a liability around children. An aggressive dog can hurt a child very quickly. If it were me the first sign of aggression and the dog is gone. BUT, you do have to keep things in perspective. I think on the proverbial food...
