I am going to put a Brisnea warmer in there with them. She is not bothering them but has not accepted them yet. She either takes care of them or doesn't and Aunt Brisnea will do the job. :) Thank you

I just received 6 in the mail today. She hisses when on the eggs. I will test to see if she still feels the need to hiss at me --- if so, I'll try giving her a few of her eggs; if not I will worry she will get more agressive with the ducklings. I'm checking about every 1/2 hour to see how...
She acts like she is still sitting on eggs although there aren't any now. I am hoping with a little time she will take to them, but yes I have a brooder if necessary. I am hoping it is not. I did 6 last year and ducklings make so much more a mess than chicks - lol. I want the ducks and...
I bought some rouen ducklings for my lame broody to care for. She was sitting on eggs and I replaced them. They are probably 3 or 4 days old - came in mail. She is sitting where the eggs were and when the new ducklings comes close she pushes them away. I only put them with her about 15...

Thank you. So far they seem happy enough - they obviously enjoy being together and no shivering. While in the duck house, they move to and from their feed and water and seem to be eating well. I take them out once a day. I had a ramp but changed it to straw for their comfort moving inside...

They are growing, but at a slower pace than the others. They are about half the size and one is growing faster than the other. Yesterday I moved these two to the duck house on the pond. One's legs are worse than the other and she got some weed tangled in them and stayed close to the shore...
I talked to a vet who asked for photos which I sent. She said they should both be euthenized. I just can't do it yet. They do move to get food and water and one loves to swim. They will hobble away and hide in larger grass if afraid. I will keep working on the legs and hoping I can get them...
