    question about Cornish cross chicks

    Husband went out to take care of our 1 1/2 week old Cornish cross chicks and said that when some of them opened their mouths the had bubbles come out?! Should I be concerned? Thanks in advance!

    Well I did it.....

    Good for you!!! Tomorrow morning is my first go... I have 3 roosters that are getting a little too noisy... I'm so nervous for the culling part more than anything. Off to get a sharp knife today.

    lavender Orpington Sex? I feel so stupid!

    So these guys are 4 1/2 months old, I'm 100% positive I have 5 pullets (buffs) and 2 Cockerels (one buff and one lavender) but this dang lavender I have NO CLUE! This one here is definitely my cockerel but this one I keep second guessing myself, I think cockerel... but then comparing...
