Thank you yes I’ve been told it’s not a barred rock now but I don’t seem to be able to amend thread title. I’ll try and get some photos without the heat light tomorrow!

Here’s he/she at 2.5 weeks? Are they not starting to look more like a barred rock or is that just how the feathers come in?

Thanks for the replies everyone, so sorry I am only replying now. I managed to find a chicken tractor construction thing on Facebook market place and my hubby cleared out a space in one of our sheds for it. Will be able to get a heat lamp in there ok to hang down at the top of the wire mesh end...
