First full winter with chickens here (hatched December of ‘20). Egg production has seriously dwindled, but all of a sudden someone is laying eggs with no shell, only the membrane. Is this normal when they start to get back into the swing of things?

last question for you, for now. The female pattern...is it that her head is a different color than the rest of her body and that she’s not a patchwork of colors elsewhere? I really want to learn as much as I can about these little creatures.
