    Nope no feather pulling just "bickering" with each other. They had never had any issues until they were moved into the coop so I just wanted to be sure!

    umbilical cord?

    I posted this in the raising chicks topic but thought i'd try here too. One of my new chicks has a scab below her bum and the other chicks pecked it off. It bled a little and I just want to make sure that she'll be ok and there's nothing else I should do. THANKS!

    under one of my chicks bums is a scab that the another chick has picked off. wondering what I should do. it bled just a little and it doesn't seem to bother her but it's still an open wound. worried about infections!

    I bought grit for chicks @ tractor supply it's small granules. I haven't started them on anything but starter feed but they are on pine shavings.

    Our piggy Junior recently passed away and we'll be looking into a new piggy next summer as we're expecting a baby in June. We adopt from a great woman in OH that rescues the little oinkers! Are there any other piggy lovers here?
