I cut the feathers back a little to expose the legs to see what I was dealing with. There wasn't any bleeding. I will check for bumblefoot. I didn't even think to check for it, thank you for the heads up.
I cut her feathers back on her legs. I'm going to keep treatment going. If it doesn't clear up I may take her to the vet to see what they can do. Will the mites cause the growths?
I just soaked her feet in olive oil after I trimmed her nails. Poor thing. I haven't introduced her to my flock but as a precaution should I treat them as well?

That's good to know. One of them likes to jump in my hand and lets me pet it. It also likes to climb up onto my shoulder and falls asleep on me. Some when I hold them rub their beak into my hands. I have no idea what any of this means.

Don't forget to think about space! Right now I can only handle 15 max. Look at your area, not just space but also if you have any restrictions in your town. Would be terrible to get some and then find out you have either too many or can't keep them! Hope it works out with your family! :)
