    How old will chickens on average lay till?

    Thank You for the information. I have three 1.5 year old and they finished molting about 3-4 weeks ago.....no eggs in 6 weeks. Previous to the molt - 5 or 6 eggs a week.

    I have an EE (1.5 yr old) that the last couple of days looks bad- she hasn't laid an egg in 4 days. She looks, all the sudden OLD, she has white feather showing - she is still active with her group but something is off - and I don't know what to look for.

    I would like more information on the salad bar in the run. We have the land but, only let the girls out when someone is out with them. Usually 2 or 3 hours a day. We see fox, coyatoe in the cherry, apple tree even during the day.

    Send us some of that Texas heat. This morning we woke up to 49 degrees. I was glad I brought my little ones in!! What can I say about Northern Michigan weather...... Tuesday it was in the 90's today low 60's. The little ones only got to play outside for a few minutes. They'll be loud tonight.
