I've decided to have her stuffed so I can have her always. I probably won't have a necropsy because the thought of someone cutting up her body and poking around, ruining her makes me upset.
It's just weird because she's always been able to get in and out of her pool with ease and her neck was hanging out of the pool so I don't see she would've drown. And it was clean water. It's just so weird.

Lol, she chases the dogs. She's about the same size as the biggest one, they're chihuahuas. They just run away from her. In the picture she's quacking at them.
I got my food from the feed store, it's called game bird starter. Most ducks start laying around 14 weeks, I got my duck when she was 4 days old and she's imprinted on me, the whole experience has been so much more rewarding for that. But with a duckling comes more work and responsibility...
Phil is five weeks old now and still chirping? But he only does it around me..... I'm also pretty convinced he's actually a she because she quacks/honks. Is the chirping thing normal? My step dad jokingly said he was just acting like a momma's duck.
