    I think we are going to put them into our shed (6x5ft) where some rabbits are currently. Put the 4x4 coop on legs and move those rabbits under the chicken coop to keep everyone separate.     Thanks for the reply! Yes I've read that online. But I was more wondering since I will have chickens and ducks mixed does this change the ratio (since ducks are ground birds and the chickens would perch, therefore making more space available)?

    Dang so soon... I heard Lohmanns are good layers through fall/winter. Maybe this is just a hiccup and she'll lay 2-3x a week there after instead of 6-7x. Grocery store eggs it is I guess🙄. I'm glad 2 weeks isn't considered crazy long though in that case. Once it passed 1.5 weeks I got worried 🤪

    My hen will NOT stop squawking since yesterday morning (when her partner passed). It is ridiculous good thing I've been off work these past 2 days.
