You can't keep him? He's a pretty boy. If you can't keep him hopefully you can find him a good home.

Unfortunately I am in town so my neighbors would not appreciate it haha. I told the lady I'd come back tomorrow after discussing with the hubby (and posting on here for confirmation!). She conveniently wanted to keep the only young chickens i could detect were definitely female. Tried to show me 4 others for sale but this guy was the only one I questioned being possibly female. Luckily I didn't buy in this case. Ive found someone else that sells strictly (6-10 week old) pullets/layers and knows what they are talking about. I wish I could keep him though!! Just scared of the noise. Id love to sell hatching eggs.

My hen will NOT stop squawking since yesterday morning (when her partner passed). It is ridiculous good thing I've been off work these past 2 days. She just wont quit until I cuddle her... then 5 mins after I get inside it starts again! Started at 7am today... grrrrr. And for some weird reason she laid her egg by 730AM. Normally never lays until 930-10AM. So weird.
Before they never made a peep except small coo's when I was feeding them in the morning. Hopefully we can pick up another lady friend for her tonight.
