We got the egg out and pushed her vent back in, it’s still in for now and she’s in a kennel. Should we give her more calcium? Do we buy that somewhere?

Our 1 year old silkie hen has an egg stuck coming out. There is a thin membrane covering the egg. We have her in some warm water in the sink. What should we do??

I don’t have any roosters at the moment, and haven’t seen any of the other hens start picking them out, doesn’t mean it’s not happening though. I thought about molting but does it seem a little early? Usually mine wait until late summer/early fall.

Hey all, I have (for sure) two chick 'fighting' in the brooder right now where they raise up and bump each other with their chests and kick. They are one and a half weeks old. Is this a sign of cockerels, and do I need to do something about it? It seems pretty harmless right now. Thanks!
