Hey all,
We recently bought a new bird and she apparently has an egg eating problem. It has spread to one or two of my other hens to the point where they just lay it and turn around and eat it. I go out to the coop multiple times a day to try and collect. We have two wooden eggs out there, and we've also tried dish soap eggs. I have seven hens, 4 of them are bantams and 3 are large fowl. They all get along pretty well. The 3 large fowl hens are the offenders, I do not believe any of the bantams are eating eggs. They have an 8x4 coop and a 16x8 run, along with another run that gets moved along the grass. They also have extra calcium and they always have food and water available. Any ideas? Thanks!
