    Thank you for the welcome and replies! I started a new thread about my dilemma, and received sound advice to create a raised porch for them to jump up to. I did this by raising their ramp. :-). So simple it as slightly embarrassing, lol. :-) Thanks again! Barbara

    Ha! Lol. Who would have thought....such a simple solution. Lol. Almost embarrassing? :-). Yup. We just raised the other end of the pallet, and made it a huge porch! Here is hoping they do not abuse this porch privilege, and fly the coop from it! (the ramp is right along the fence.)...
