We now have a total of 19 chickens, with 14 mature hens and 5 pullets just beginning to lay. I'm still in search of a blue or dk brown layer

Two year update...six original hens, now 2 years old; added 10 new pullets for a nice diverse flock. Still loving keeping chickens!

Happily awaiting my new chicks. We are doubling +1 our current flock as we are both set to retire within several months.
