Had the extra room so i doubled the size.
Have had this coop for over a year and have to say it's a great use of unused space. My backyard is small so this really helps keep usable space maximized.

So all three of my ladies are laying small eggs. I'm very confused.
My Americana has been laying for 3 weeks and her eggs are all around 1.4oz - 1.7 oz

My Daughter found one of our ladies this morning, laying next to her roost, NO HEAD or Neck, The rest of her was just fine. The other Hen was not very happy. There was no blood that I could tell.

So They have been locked int eh coop/run for 6 or 7 days. And Flower is still laying 1 egg a day in the nest. and rose hasn't laid anything yet. Should i worry?
What about cutting the sides of the carton down? There isn't a lot of Height room in the coop and if i raise it to much more they will be within pecking range of the rope lights and other power stuff.
So I've kept them locked in there coop and run. Since the other day. And flower Is laying one egg a day just like she has been, in the nest. Rose on the other hand is being stubborn and hasn't laid anything yet.

So i installed a Pan / Tilt / Cam in my coop today. And i now understand why there are always piles of poop in these spots!
Why are they choosing to roost off the side of the nest and not over on the roost i made for them,???
