How long to isolate hens with A specific rooster?

I have multiple roosters all of whom seem to "Breed". With that in mind how long do I have to isolate hens with my RIR roo to insure the eggs I want to incubate are his??? I intend to make sex links, pruebreds, and "75%ers" for lack of A better way to describe it. As A sidebar...

Induce A rooster to breed in winter???

Dark spot in the yolk. Cracked 3 earlier today didn't see one, though admittedly I knew 1 would be unlikely to be fertilized. That hen is separated from the roosters..

Induce A rooster to breed in winter???

Several just not as frequently as in summer. Several of them recently finished their molt.

Induce A rooster to breed in winter???

A bit less than 2. He used to do it multiple times per day right in front of me, I think I've seen him do it 3X in the last month.

Induce A rooster to breed in winter???

Simple any tricks to induce A rooster to "perform" regularly before spring???? A large chunk of my hens have cleared their first molt and I ordered an incubator. My RIR does not seem to be "Performing" with anywhere near his spring-to-summer frequency and I'd rather start the replacement...

    Cream Legbar pullet?

Looks like A roo. I had 3 roo LB/Aust mixes.............. Didn't end well. Apparently LB Roos can have very nasty dispositions and when are the size of an austrolorp with that disposition that was not A good mix for the hens.

I was gifted some babies and have no idea what they are!

My money is on the one front and center being A roo. No idea otherwise none of the chicks I've raised look like any of those.

Cockerels? (1, 5 week old Blue plymouth rock and 1, 5 week old speckled sussex

BPR on right is definitely A roo. I've had 4 SSs in the past and even I am unsure at that age.

5 week old white Australorp - gender guess :) pics heavy

None of my Austrolorp girls had A comb that high for well after 7 weeks. The 3 roos I had were Blk Aust/Crm LB did though. Nasty mix as it turned out, vicious to my hens so they became meat. Their RIR replacement has worked out quite well. As I just pointed out though my 3 were mutts, not...

Your guesses as to what may be wrong with the chickens?

Update, 1 of the 2 has now laid 3 eggs in 4 days. I say 1 because all 3 eggs have A very similar shape and size. Figuring out these 2 birds is A pain.

Your guesses as to what may be wrong with the chickens?

What I'm learning thus far is certain birds are just better producers, the best layers I have currently seemed to distinguish themselves before even laying, "Studs" for lack of A better term, yes I realize the gender reference is off but the right adjective is not leaping to mind. If I had...

Your guesses as to what may be wrong with the chickens?

GSLs and RSLs heavily frontload egg production, IIRC it is odd they survive to 3 years old. Their metabolism essentially cooks them and something usually reproductive related kills them. IME seems like my GSLs consume more water than the other birds too. Isa Browns and White Leghorns can...

Your guesses as to what may be wrong with the chickens?

The part your not told when you buy "Ideals" rather than Leghorns is that ANCONAS LAY LITERALLY HALF of what leghorns do. I think my two got A disproportionate amount of Ancona DNA. These 2 birds are 8 months old and are not milting yet. Like I said I'm not certain 1 has actually laid yet...

Your guesses as to what may be wrong with the chickens?

YES Gold Sex Links 3 of the 4 of them are virtually machines and the fourth is as consistent as my Austrolorps.
