How long to isolate hens with A specific rooster?

I have multiple roosters all of whom seem to "Breed". With that in mind how long do I have to isolate hens with my RIR roo to insure the eggs I want to incubate are his??? I intend to make sex links, pruebreds, and "75%ers" for lack of A better way to describe it.


As A sidebar ..........Do you think there is any merit to NOT incubating pointy eggs?

4-6 weeks to clear out the previous rooster semen is generally recommended.

Your sidebar....Are you talking wonky shaped eggs like oblong?
If so, I've read breeders to SOP don't hatch these eggs. You hatch and sell only your best looking eggs. (Correct for that breed)
