I lost one of my 9 yr old flock today 😢 down to 3 now. I swore this would be my last but I’m going to get some pullets when it warms up. Would you think that would be trouble for sure?
She got overheated about 3 weeks ago. I kept her in the house for a couple of days and she seemed ok. I've been trying to gove them an extra tub of water and frozen melon and fruit everyday, but today I found he dead in the nesting box. Any other ideas to cool them off?
Yea!!!! Got a beautiful egg today! My pet EE is the one I'm sure. Gave them cream of wheat with scratch mixed in for a reward! They are 25 1/2 weeks so hang in there all you expectant mom's!

I just put my 4 week old EE and Buff Orp's in the coop this afternoon...checked on them about 5 times already! They are standing next to the screen door looking for me so I'm feeling guilty...plan on keeping them in the coop for about a week with a few hours in the run every day. I'm not too...
