I have to sebbie goose that has been laying in her first season. I have the first 5 or so in the incubator and a couple have been fertile. She has built a nest in one of the pen and laid a few eggs in there over the past week or so. The problem (maybe) is that she will only sit on them at night...

I have two four month old tolbunt polish cockerels. I was able to get a few chicks and ended up with four roos and one hen. Always my luck! They are for pickup only at this time. I am located in East Tennessee close to Lenoir City.
I have never had quail before and was given some hatching eggs. I was only told that some of the eggs that were marked came from pied birds. I don't know if you can tell the breed at a young age. A few of the birds are lighter in color and smaller. Thanks for any help.
A couple of people I have given some eggs to lately said they have cracked a couple of the eggs open and they are like hard boiled inside?? I have not come across any like this myself. Is it possible they could have froze changing the texture? I look all eggs over closely and I'm sure there were...
The birds are almost 6 months old (I hatched them out), Deerman you caught me on that one . Here is a better pic of the males neck if it helps the conversation. I'm just glad I don't have to worry about providing heat for them.
