    Blue Ameraucana thread!

    I have a question. I hatched out 3 Blue Ameraucanas , one was black, one was splash, & one was blue. Are they still all 3 considered "Blue Ameraucanas", or are they called by what their feather colors are? Such as "Black Ameraucana" &/or "Splash Ameraucana" ????

    I wasn't impressed w/ them at all. Out of 30 eggs, I hatched out 8.. Although it was my first time, I was very diligent in doing everything perfectly. I so wanted rare breeds but this hatch rate was depressing. I do not even think half of them were fertile and/or mixed breeds. $200 for 8 chicks...

    Mice are ruining my chicken raising experience!!!!!!

    I have 3 indoor cats, but don't think that I want an outdoor one. My neighbor has 2 outside tom cats, but they stay away because of my 2 large black labs. Which I think would probably scare any cat away.. IDK I might eventually have to get a "barn cat"..
