Thanks for all your kind words everyone. I'll learn to toughen up over them eventually. The kids actually took it better than I thought they would. They were worried that it was hurting for too long. They dropped off 3 more (yikes!) and one has a bum leg. Not sure how to handle that.

Well my little chick has passed. I've been watching it all morning and I tried everything and still it didn't make it. It never did get any worse, it just finally quit breathing.......... Thanks for all your help.............Now I'll compose myself so I can deal with the kids when they get home.
