The vet just called. Guess she's working late bc it's 7pm the call came in.
Lucy Goosy just came out of surgery and handled it well the vet said she's up eating & drinking. The vet also added nican and vitamins to her water. They are keeping her over night then I can pick her up in the...
I'm sorry to announce the gate didn't shut correctly and my bulldog Buster "played" with her! ;0( She's very much alive and alert, eating, drinking & chirping. Now she has bite holes from his teeth (which are not major wounds) and a broken wing with the bone actually sticking out with the wing...
Almost can't tell which one she is in the video. She's the one on the left in back of the line. She's smaller than my other goose that's the same age. Instead she's the size of the ducklings.
I placed her in the yard with the ducks and other goose & she wants to follow the ducks & goose, get to her food and water so she's getting around! I'm seeing even more improvement out of her & she's taking 8 or 10 steps without falling!! Still a bit wobbly but she's walking much better. She's a...
No, she's still not out of it. Yesterday after the pool I put her on the ground and she was standing up like normal and grooming herself like nothing was wrong. That's the most I've seen out of her. She still isn't really walking much at all.
I put watermelon in the box and she stood up and hobbled over to it. She still has a long way to go but I noticed when I stated adding melon I've been getting more movement out of her so either it's time for her to start doing better or maybe the vitamins in the fruit are helping her.
She's only had the food I've given her in her box so I don't know of anything other than the cardboard box.
Yesterday she stood up, let out a scream and took 2 steps. This morning the did the same thing but took 5 steps. Maybe she'll get better and start walking again. The other goose is...
I guess anything is possible but I'm the only one that picked them up and I really don't think I hurt her. Both legs flop out from under her. Either they flop to the side or back of her. She looks really frustrated & I'm worried the stress is taking its toll on her bc she's not as bright eyed...
