    OK I think we are getting somewhere! We took the girl to the sink and gave her a nice soak and rinse and tried to play with this thing. The closer we looked, the more it reminded us of a chicken poop. Mealy looking, but this one was hard as a rock. The more we rinsed and soaked, it got softer...

    Thanks, I think you mean the pinkish lumps to the left of the growth on the underside pic. I see what you are seeing. We will try to clean her today and see what of it comes off, if any.

    Here are a few more we were able to get. It is a bit hard to the touch. It seems almost like a scab that maybe acquired some dirt? Hopefully. We are thinking maybe we will give her a warm soak and see if it works itself off.

    Noticed this on one of our girls' wings yesterday. Strangely, we are nearly certain it was not there last week because she was part of a photo shoot. What could it be? Wound that filled/scabbed over? Thank you in advance!

    Sadly we lost one of our hens a few days ago. She was a young 18 months old. :( Their preliminary results were for Hemorrhagic liver disease (fatty liver). I personally feel pretty awful about this because it means there is something we probably could've been doing differently to prevent this...

    Thanks folks. Going to administer the second dose of Miconazole now and put her to bed. She's not looking great. Hasn't drank today. Hoping it turns around.

    Thanks, the antibiotics are stopped and havent fed her anything special today. Just administered the first dose of Miconazole orally. Put some on my finger, opened her beak and put on the bottom. She seemed to swallow it. Will administer another in a few hours before bed and then 2x daily for 6...

    Also thanks for the advice about the acidophilus - our probiotic water additive has it in there so hopefully she will continue to drink.

    Thanks very much. I think we are gonna try the cream, either 3 or 7. She seems to swallow much easier with something soft than trying to coax her to eat a piece of pill.

    So was able to take a look at some more poop today. Still watery, slightly greenish. I'm wondering if she's eating the feed like she should. But her appetite seems normal otherwise, including for treats. Also started a daily weighing routine. She's definitely still underweight @ 1.3 kilos...
