I never was able to figure out what was going on. I gave her all the medicine I was told to give her. She never completely went back to normal. Unfortunately she didn't make it. :( she lived a few weeks but that was it. I hope your outcome is better then mine.

Do you have a game camera? Set that up so you know exactly what you are dealing with.

The ones that were pulled through the wire was likely done by a raccoon. I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago. It literally ripped 2 of my chicks through the chicken wire. It happened at night. The only thing that was left was feathers. We put an extra layer at the bottom of our chicken...

I hope a hen :). I trimmed the hair around her eyes earlier today... She was walking tall after! Haha. It was like she was discovering a whole new world again. :) I will take some better pictures tomorrow.

She's is around 12 weeks old... I am still hoping a hen... There is no comb or wattles on her. She has started running into things is the reason I want to trim around her eyes. I'm pretty sure those are wings sticking out. It's hard to tell in this picture.

I have 2 questions.... Male of female? He is having trouble seeing... Will it hurt him if I trim some of the feathers? And does anyone have any pictures of trimmed polish chickens?
