I hope a hen . I trimmed the hair around her eyes earlier today... She was walking tall after! Haha. It was like she was discovering a whole new world again. I will take some better pictures tomorrow.

Was that photo before you trimmed the feathers? Im sticking with rooster my polish pullets crest grew in much more evenly. And im sure those are saddle feathers....

Hmmm. The coloring is fairly even (no splotches of darker color on the wings), and I don't see and saddle or hackle feathers yet. However, I am going to say that he/she is a male. This is based off of the pointy crest feathers.
