    Please Help my Pullet Dottie

Yes, lots of fresh water. She seems very thirsty, laying by the drinker. I have 1 fresh water, 1 electrolyte water, and 1 water with apple cider vinegar. So she has options as well. I’ll see if she’ll eat some meal worms from me.. and check her lower belly

    Please Help my Pullet Dottie

I am in need of advice for my pullet. She has been VERY lethargic. I wondering if she is close to laying her first egg and that is why she is so tired??? She lays down a lot and sleeps a lot This morning when she put her facedown to eat out of my hand she threw up! I was shocked. She also has...

Ok, the biggest one has never crowed and is the most friendly. They’re amazing birds I just hope she’s not too old to lay

Flock found on side of highway

I rescued three birds along side a river on major highway in Florida... I’m not sure of the breeds or sex. They’re all very different sizes and I’m new to chickens to be able to distinguish. No one has laid any eggs but the littlest black bird crows so we know Hei-Hei is a roo. They’re...

    Use for Unfertilized eggs

I had about 35 quail eggs in the incubator. I candled them finding that 10 eggs are not fertilized. I’ve read you’re supposed to remove eggs to avoid an egg exploding. Can I use these eggs for another purpose even if they’ve been in the incubator for 5ish days? Perhaps give to my neighbor for...

    Speckled Sussex Pullet or Cockerel?

Oh absolutely!!! My backyard is heavily landscaped with trees (banana trees etc) and low to the ground bushes that they forage/hide in. Plus I do not let them free range unsupervised My husband spends a lot of time with them but they prefer me do if I go inside they’ll try to follow 🥹

Thank you, She has an amazing personality too! She prefers cuddles over treats and will wait at the back slider in hopes to come follow me around inside the home🥹

    Speckled Sussex Pullet or Cockerel?

Hi there, I’m new to chickens but I have been breeding & raising quail for quite some time. I adopted an established but elderly flock about a year ago. I received backlash from a neighbor about my rooster and had to rehome him. As some of my older hens passed away I decided to start from...
