    Hi, Located down in the SouthEastern NM. Has anyone seen a webiste or a list of quial you can legal keep/own in NM? I have searched the Fish and Game website with no luck. I have set on hold with their phone number for extended periods of time with no answer. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

    That has been my experience as well. Polish on day one = no luck. Wax on day 10 = chick!!

    Nice!! Yeah, I have tried finger nail polish a few times on shipped eggs that were cracked. Never had any luck with that. Not sure if it was the nail polish, egg wasn't fertile, or it was so damaged in shipping it never developed. Glad you were able to save a few chicks!

    Thanks again Eggcessive, I have about 100 young pullets that are a couple months old. I might go ahead and vaccinate those so when I put them with the older birds it doesn't spread throughout the whole flock of young birds.

    Barred Rock Speckled egg??

    I have a BR that started laying a few weeks ago. Everyone of her eggs have been speckled. I am going to breed her to a Silverudd Blue rooster and hopefully get speckled green egg layers from them.

    Thanks for your reply. Yes, it does have digital controls. I did take two of the plugs out allowing for air flow. It have been easily keeping a constant temperature so I am going to leave the vents open.
