Hey everyone, Quick question, after using the small Styrofoam incubators I upgraded to the Sportsman 1502. I have my first batch in the incubator right now. I was curious about the vent holes. The incubator came with one in the upper back open and one on the top side open. I live at a higher elevation 4,500' so in my smaller incubators I always leave all the plugs out. What do you all do with your vents on your sportsman 1502? Are you two open fine? Thanks in advance. Matt

Congratulations on getting a cabinet incubator!

Does yours have digital humidity controls?

If so, I would go with keeping the vents opens to keep a good supply of oxygen in the incubator.

If the incubator has trouble holding humididy, try closing one like the setup.

During hatch at after day 18, I would open both vents. Oxygen level is very important then

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it does have digital controls. I did take two of the plugs out allowing for air flow. It have been easily keeping a constant temperature so I am going to leave the vents open.
