    I live in the mountains of north Carolina. Winter not got here yet. I have 3 coops one is just for my sitting hens. I found out the hard way to not leave babies in coop with other chickens. Thanks everyone for all the information. I hope she is able to have some chicks.

    My rooster has been doing what they do best and my hens backs are getting sore and the feathers have feel out where the back and tail meet. How can I keep this from happening?

    Could it be something in the food? I have not changed anything in the last month. This is my first flock and I'm still learning. It seems like they are fine and then a couple hours later they are dead. I'm worried about my other cchickens

    My chicken died and when I got home I had another one dead. I Google it and it never said if it was contagious. the one today looked like her insides was going 2 come out her butt. does this sound like sour crop

    I have a hen thas is swelled up and not movinG all she does is stand there with her eyes closed. She also has a lump on her neck. Just wondering if anyone might know what this might be.
