    Thanks. The nest boxes are separate and external and yes three solid sides and the opening faces into a shaded bush. The nest box roof has quite an overhang over the front too.

    Once they figure out you often bring food when you visit, they'll follow you anywhere :) ours even get excited even if I'm just bringing them their normal pellets in a different container :)
